Trekking Santa Cruz is one of the most popular routes in the Cordillera Blanca. its popularity because it has a spectacular view of the mountains, crystal clear lagoons. Along the way, you will have wonderful views of Artesonraju, Rinrijirca and Alpamayo.
Day 01: Huaraz / Pitec (Quilcayhuanca cover, 3800m) / Tullpacocha (4250m)
Transfer by private transport to Pitec. Here we begin with the walk to the Quebrada Quilcayhuanca. On the route we can see cave paintings and the archaeological remains of Tambo Nuevo. Walking time: 5 to 6 hours approx. Camping: Cayeshpampa (4100m).
Day 02: Tullpacocha / Paso Huapi (5020m) / Cojup (4150m)
This day we will have a beautiful view of the Tullpacocha and Cuchillacocha lagoons. The walk will be ascending until reaching the Huapi Pass 5020 m. The highest point of the walk. Walking time 6 to 7 hours approx. Camping: Quebrada de Cojup (4150m).
Day 03: Quebrada Cojup / Huaraz
This last day the walk will be through the Cojup ravine towards the deck or control of the park, where a private transport awaits us to transfer us to Huaraz. Walking time: 3 to 4 hours approx.
